The Judge: Mr Brian Meyer (USA)

I grew up in Chicago, Illinois area. My parents were breeding Boxers under the name of My-R before I was born. I began obedience training and showing some of the puppies at the age of 10. I started helping Larry and Alice Downey, American Kennel Club licensed handlers, at dog shows when I was 13. This led to a full time summer job while I was in high school and college.

My wife and I became professional handlers in the late '60's and continued to handle until 1999, during that time we showed many Working, Terrier and Herding breeds in the United States.

In 1999, I retired from handling and began judging. I currently judge the Working and Herding groups and several Sporting breeds.
